But nuts are some of the healthiest alternatives to refined sugar, and they are an excellent way to satisfy a sweet craving .Today, dry fruits is consumed as a snack more often than for use in main dishes and desserts. As a snack, dry fruits is vastly superior to junk foods, such as potato chips, candy bars, and other unhealthy indulgences people/kids reach for when they are hungry between meals especially in the evening post office hours…kids during exam time…etc

Dry fruits are also a food of convenience it can be taken in backpacks without adding a lot of extra weight…simply perfect for long trips! Fresh fruits in the car tend to be messy and leave peels, pits, and cores to throw away. Nuts takes up less room and ensures the family is getting something good. Let’s discover and learn a quick recipe as how we can make nuts more interesting!

30 minutes: HEALTHY CRAZY NUTS KA PUNCH!

Kaamchor Ki Rasoi Se: DRY FRUIT MAWA

Ingredients

  • Almonds: 100 grams
  • Pista: 100 grams
  • Cashew: 100 grams
  • Walnuts: 100 gram
  • Anjeer: 100 grams
  • Dates: 100 grams
  • Honey: 100 grams
  • Gaund: 200 grams
  • Ghee: To Fry

Method

1.Take anjeer rinse it in water and cut it into small pieces similarly take dates rinse it in water and remove its seeds (keep it aside in a plate separately).

2.Take a non-stick pan and heat ghee in it.

3.Deep fry almonds and remove it on a plate, let it cool down for few minutes similarly deep fry pista, cashew and gaund separately and cool it. No need to fry walnuts!

4. Take a big bowl add walnuts, fried almonds, pista, cashew, gaund, rinsed anjeer and dates mix it well

5. Add honey into the crazy nuts and mix it well. Your HEALTHY CRAZY NUTS KA PUNCH is ready to eat.

Tip: If you do not want to deep fry the nuts you can also roast it and just add 1-2 tsp of ghee later, this mix can be your best friend for your hunger during odd hours…you can easily carry this in a dabba and eat it whenever you like…You can also give this to your kids with a glass of Milk in the morning!
